Central Park West Apartment

Manhattan

Description

This 1929 Upper Westside apartment in the El Dorado, purchased in its original condition, was in need of complete renovation. Changes included reorganizing the existing circulation to open up the floor plan and converting the existing galley kitchen and maid’s room into a large, open kitchen appropriate for entertaining. This new kitchen connects to a light-filled breakfast area which extends into the adjacent dining room. Vibrant blocks of color on the walls thoughout the apartment tie together the client’s vast collection of modern art.
