After a successful decade of working together on a wide variety of architecture and interior design projects, Richard Lavenstein and Amy Libit formed a new practice L+L Design Studio at the end of 2009. At the encouragement of many loyal clients, contractors, consultants, and friends, Richard & Amy left their previous NYC office where he had been a partner for nearly 20 years and she had worked as a senior designer and then as a project architect for 10 years to form this new design firm.

L+L Design Studio’s reputation is based on the quality of Richard & Amy’s work and the high degree of personal service they devote to each client and project. The partners believe in the importance of listening to the client’s desires and programmatic requirements and help them to focus and prioritize their design objective. Longstanding relationships with numerous repeat clients attest to Richard & Amy’s sustained devotion to each project and every client.
